Best for
Runners who want a Bronzeville and South Side community, and a genuine Sunday long run rather than a 3-mile social lap.
If you have never done this before
The 3-mile option is very accessible. The 7-mile Sunday Service is not a beginner distance — but you get to pick on the day.
Worth knowing: Founded by three Nike colleagues — Ian Gonzalez, Aaron Ingram and Craig Taylor — and featured in Fleet Feet Chicago's "MILE 24" Chicago Marathon storytelling series, which built an entire mile of the race narrative around Bronzeville.
